ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS OF VATIKA WING

Earth Day: 22nd April

The students of the Vatika Wing celebrated the Earth Day by presenting a meaningful Assembly which highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. The Assembly was conducted by Class II, Students presented a short skit on the theme & gave message to Save electricity, Save Water and Save Trees. Sapling was done to commemorate the day. Students pledge to make the earth a better place to live in. During the day Students of Pre-Nur & Nursery made attractive display boards. All Vatika students made trees with slogans “GROW MORE TREES”.

Mothers’ Day :  9th May 

Students of Vatika Wing celebrated Mothers’ Day with great enthusiasm and joy. There was a festive atmosphere all round and parents came in large numbers to watch their children performance. On this special day corridors of Class Nursery, KG, I & II were converted into Goa, Punjab, Rajsthan & Awadh respectively. They presented their culture, Food & Dances.Main attraction of the function – 100% participation & appreciation by all the parents.

Mango Day: 7th July 

A Special assembly was conducted on Mango Day. Children performed Skit, Dance & Poems on Mango. All the performers came in Yellow dress

Show & Tell : 15th July 

Show & Tell activity was organized for class I & II students on 15th July aimed at developing confidence level of students in public speaking.

 Fancy Dress : 16th July 

Children always love to dwell in fantasy where they can feel, visualize and enjoy their Utopian world. With this motto DMA Vatika organized a thematic Fancy Dress competition on 16th July for Classes Pre-Nur, Nursery & KG. Themes of these classes were Fruits & vegetables, Cartoon characters & Nature respectively. This thematic programme makes children visualize the characters coming out alive from their story books to entertain them.

Solo Dance Competition: 6th August

Two rounds of Solo Dance competition were organized – Selection round & Final Round. On this day Children performed variety of dances as Classical, western etc. Their enthusiasm was very high & they all looked very beautiful on their performance dress up.

Rakhi Making Activity: 8th August

Rakhi Making activity was held on 8th August. On this day children brought fancy decorative materials to make attractive rakhies.
