AWARENESS RALLY ON WOMEN EMPOWERMENT:

-
The newly elected Council Body took on the mantle with a great sense of responsibility. Their first challenge was to lead the senior section during ‘Awareness Rally on Women Empowerment' on the 18th of May. Approximately 1000 students and teachers participated in the rally starting from Raza library. The rally was flagged off by the District Magistrate, Mr. N.K. Chauhan and supported by the ARTO. The students carried the banners on women empowerment made by them during the ICC period. The creativity of the students in designing the banners was highly appreciated. Many students portrayed eminent women leaders and icons.

THE HOUSE SYSTEM:
-
-
The senior section took up the initiation of the house system and the planning of Inter-House activities. This path breaking initiative took a leaf from the traditional house system blending the merits of Inter-House & Inter-Class competitions. The students of classes 9 to 11th were divided into four houses randomly on the basis of the class lists. The teachers were also alloted different houses to support & guide the students in the various activities.

INTER-HOUSE DEBATES:
-
-
The first house activity was 'Inter-House Debate Contest' for Classes IX - XI conducted during the ICC period. The topic for Class X was ‘Facebook-a boon or a bane’,. The students emphatically put forth their arguments. Class Xl students of the house debated on ‘Tough laws will stop the atrocities against women’. The motive behind transformation of Inter-Class competitions into Inter-House competitions is to provide a learning platform to maximum students from where they can hone and excel their abilities and skills.
