History
         Dayawati Modi Academy, ‘a school with a difference’ had its humble beginnings in the year 1986, the foundation stone being laid by Mr. W.S. Sonneborne. The school which began with 8 classrooms, 9 teachers and 180 students stands tall today in the educational scenario of the region because of its state-of-the art infrastructure enriched with 90 classrooms, well-equipped labs, spacious library, attractive reception, colourful Vatika Wing and an imposing administrative block.
 
             The steermanship of DMA Rampur has passed through the able hands of eight visionary principals- the Founder Principal being Shri U.C. Bhardwaj, whose commitment and dedication gave a strong foundation to D.M.A. He handed over the baton to Dr. B. Singh whose tireless, striving and meticulous approach developed applaudable school system. The baton exchanged hands with Dr. D. Verma, Mr. B.N. Sarkar and Mr. H.C. Katiyal known for academic orientation, implementing broadened perspective of grooming and emphasis on discipline respectively. Mr. Ashok Thakhur's team binding ability provided creative wings to DMA staff & students. Mr. Krishna Murthy & Mr. V.K. Arora, in their short tenures added flovours of simplicity & humility. Mr. Ram Singh, through his dynamism, could raise the bar of DMA & create a type of the school through his administrative acumen and 'out of box thinking'.
                    At present Dr. Suman Tomar is the torch bearer of DMA's academic fraternity, under whose able guidance school is setting new milestones on its path of success.
